Competition Playlist Alteration

I was playing some competition today and a thought came to mind, what if competition was more like a hardcore mode? Higher damage, less health, less hud, etc.

What do you guys think, should competition be the hardcore?

Possibly. I’d be down for that. It definitely shouldn’t be hamstringed with all those abilities and features turned off.

I agree, turning off the abilities would destroy one of the things Brink has to diffrentiate itself from other shooters.

For sure. I keep up with TheBrinkTV.com and watch the replays of competitive matches.

This one on launch day really is exciting. All the announcer commentary really is fun to watch and here. Plus the server was recording in free-fly mode so you see everything…

Higher damage and less health = anything BUT hardcore. That would be waaaayyy to easy and totally defeat the supposed SD gamestyle. Hardcore modes in COD are such an oxymoron. Most of my middle aged buddies play “hardcore” mode on COD because thats the only mode they can camp out in and get kills lol. I mean…play “strategically” and get kills…
