I don’t know if this is the place for this, but I can’t think of any other. I was having an issue where every time I quit the game, my computer would crash due to video memory management error and restart. I found a workaround by setting the executable to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode. It worked after one session, but then I got kicked out of a match violating security settings or something. Could this get me banned?

No, you can’t get banned by this.
Current antivirus NGS has an issue with “violation kicks”.
Just…try to ignore them before they get patched.
