I just took a look through the patch notes and noticed that there is no mention of competitive missions leading me to the conclusion that they have not been removed, I believe it was shoe. in one of the dev streams that said that they are a bug and were not intended to be in the game. If this is the case then why was the removal not in the patch notes/ did not happen?

Because they had other priorities for the patch or simply because it was too late to add to this patch because it was already in QA?
