How come we never just send 2 operatives ahead to the safe room when playing as resistance on security tower? If you could get that charge planted quickly enough then the operatives could have the safe hacked before they even get there and run the code to the door.
Community Game Nights?
Exactly. I’ve done this and it works. Some defenders will allow the front gate to be blown. I’ve seen that tactic, while they set up shop outside the gate.
Also, once Netchayef is released. You could send two guys ahead to the street level to stop the enemy from setting up camp. An Operative and an Engineer to set mines turrets to block the enemy from claiming the street level command post. Then the enemy must divide their forces, leaving those who protect Netchy to escort. The key is for the two at street level to stay alive! Then you push like hell to get Netchy up the ramp to the gate.
I have a Soldier/Engineer/Operative combo who could pull off that move, switching classes at the new respawn point along the way, but he is fat … and slow.
We were seriously lacking heavies the other night when we lost Security Tower. We redeemed ourselves and won Refuel the next match.
i was actually there waiting for the glass doors to open bet they got there @ 12%
ok so i think ill make a thread on map strategy right now to get some ideas

we all go heavy!!! smart eh?[/QUOTE]
I do have a heavy soldier who is a Beast and an Engineer! <Scratching chin…>
That’s what I always do. I don’t know why/how but on offense I always get to the room first. It is usually the best strategy against an unprepared/unclanned team.

Would be interesting to see how that worked out!
But I find myself preferring different weights for different roles. Solders = Heavy. Medics = Light. Operative = Light (though I really haven’t played the class much at all). Engineer = Medium (?) (I really haven’t played this much either, but Medium provides a balance between ability to get into strange places to leave mines and turrets, and durability while working on objectives. I might wind up deciding I like my Engineers Heavy, though. Gatling Turret plus mines plus big guns can make it very difficult for the enemy to enter an area.)

I have been told Heavy Operative has some advantages. So, it just depends on style, brother!
As soon as Clan Support goes live, we really need to include some Clan Action into Community Nights! That way we can trash talk more like Jess Alon does!
hopefully we would all isolate into the SDFCGN clan (SD forums comunnity game night?? its an unoficial clan)
Well, I actually play the class almost-never, so I can find that easy to believe. Might work better against humans, where if you can get behind a bunch of folks then open up with a big gun, death can reign.
Imagine how much damage 2 or 3 disguised operatives would cause if they grouped together and attacked at once…! You’re chilling beside the objective, surrounded by like 5 or 6 allies, and then BAM one half dies, the other half gets out of its disguise leaving you defenseless and surprised as sh!t while you get gunned down. Hummm
I should playing most of the night (around like 6-10PM EST), I’ll see you guys then
Haha. What’s clan support entail? I’m down. As a matter of fact I’m about to start playing again.

Why am I afraid that you will have an overly high-pitched squeaky voice? Please tell me you sound like Notorious BIG instead.

This is my favorite thing about OP. Like the other night when we were playing Wolf on Sec Tower I disguised, came up behind 4-5 of the enemy, threw every single grenade possible, sprayed like crazy and downed them all. I’ve also disguised and just hung out with the enemy team for a while, occasionally in front of the same person I’m disguised as.
Found out I’m gonna be home earlier so I might make it on a bit earlier as well.
