Dirty Bomb has been unplayable lately due to this bug/glitch. Randomly and frequently in the middle of games, my character will suddenly stop responding to any key commands. I can still turn with my mouse, but I can’t use WASD, can’t switch weapons, can’t jump etc. I also cannot open the console. After I die (which is very quickly once I lose control of my character), I cannot even respawn as the spacebar respawn does not register.
Even AFTER leaving the game, which I can do as it does not require keystrokes to leave a game, keystrokes still do not register. I cannot open the console. When I DO have control, however, opening the console reveals this strange message: “Command not recognized : Profilegame stop”
This is not a fault with my keyboard - keystrokes register just fine in other programs. (Chrome, CSGO, Word…) It is just Dirty Bomb. Generally, after some amount of time (< 1minute?), I’ll have control over my character again…until it happens once more. Nothing like this has ever happened in 200+ hours of gameplay.
Any suggestions/ideas?
