Command map grid not sizing properly?

(Malverik) #1

Hey

when i into limbo i can’t see all the objectives and some of them are displayed outside the command map! The grid goes from A to G and from 0 to 6 but I have an objective around (M,4) that is not displayed at all

for my worldspawn coordinates:
mapcoordsmins “-4672 4672”
mapcoordsmaxs “4672 -4672”
and i verified that they form a square a bit larger than the actual map size.

Am i missing something?

If the coords are correct then you’re command map is wrong.

Not sure how you have made the command map.
Try to use the tracemap.
Generate the tracemap again.

i didnt!

i dont have a command map, i just have the orange square for now.
On smaller test maps the objectives were shown correctly but on that one i have a dynamite icon that appears to the right of the command where you select your class

Do you have an origin brush for that toi?

need more info. tell us what you have tried.

(dime1622) #6

check your map for some erroneous thing sitting out there while youre at it

(LowLife) #7

My guess would be that the map isnt centered on the grid, therefore you need the right coords and not just the size

(EB) #8

I think that lowlife is right - (9 posts ?!?) load the .map and press the I key, slowly center your map on the grid. re-do your coordinates. save it as a different name to make sure it is backed up (do not save as originalname until you check it for errors.)

Otherwise…re-do your coords.

oh, i got it!
I recompiled with -vis -meta instead of just with -light and it worked
