Colour grading... Do we need it?

One of the best parts of this game is the colour. Many people disable the colour grading and say it makes it much more colourful. Maybe SD have them to provoke an atmosphere, but I believe colour grading isn’t needed. Do you agree?
*filters mean colour grading, can’t edit poles.

@Amerika Yes, sorry, I’ve always referred to them as filters. I’ll edit to colour grading.

So that completely optional setting? I haven’t had any issues with the game the way it is. If I have a configuration preference I change it, like FOV.

That is the glory of PC gaming. Personal preference. Most of the settings that are locked is because they were exploited. As long as changing the colorgrading doesn’t trigger any exploits I don’t see why it can’t remain an option for people to change. But as a default? I don’t mind.

Lol maybe I seemed a little critical. But I would rather see no colour grading as the default, as I think it’s much prettier, and would think people who can’t be bothered/ don’t know how to change the settings would prefer it. Obviously when I say delete it, I don’t mean delete the option to have it. I should have phrased it better.

Yeah, I honestly don’t see a lot of value in this. It’s a setting and it’s not an exploit and it’s a minor change so I’m going to close this. Sorry :frowning:
