Colours in the game are all inverted(Turned black red and blue to be precise.)

For me turning on hardware accelaration actually worked and fixed the problem with crazy colours. And runs nicely. This might not work well with all modern cards. At least give it a shot though. Turning on hardware acceleration, if it works for you, will be the simplest solution and gives you 16-bit color and texture filtering.

If you Google Windows 7 color fix there are a few different ways to go about solving it. Terminating Explorer is the easiest in most cases though. This is also completely harmless.
