Cobalt Shard or Cobalt Fragment?

Hey, guys!

Simple question…

Do you prefer Cobalt Shard (Blue) or Cobalt Fragment (Platinum)?

Personally, I prefer having the Cobalt Fragment as the colour platinum is more appealing to my eyes than the shiny blue and you tend to not be as exposed on the battlefields as opposed to the blue.

Lately, I’ve been getting the exact loadout card that I’ve wished for a numerous mercenaries from the RNG gods and the majority of the loadout cards came in cobalt fragment. What are the chances, eh?

I know this thread is particularly aimed at cobalt colours as it may appear on the subject title but you can possibility comment on the gold colours too which are Crown, Swiss, and Bamboo.

I like shard, it’s more blue so it can confuse enemies easier.

I hear a lot of people prefer Shard but honestly I prefer Fragment so much more. But then again, it depends on the Merc but I do agree, the Platinum on the guns look amazing in my opinion. But in the end, a cobalt is a cobalt, I’d be happy with either LOL.

I like shard since it’s more 'cobalty" nothing else looks like it in the game :slight_smile:

that being said I only have 1 shard cobalt, the rest are fragment :slight_smile: and yeah at this point i’m happy with either

Shard takes the cake, blue weapons got nothin on real shiny weapons

shard, on lowest graphics settings the platinum is just boring speckled look. Blue looks more expensive!

Shard feels too bland on the weapon to me, and it looks pretty bad on some weapons. I prefer Fragment.

Depends on a merc. Shard has those pretty blue weapons but the skin is sometimes yuck - on Sawbonez it’s ugly, on Kira it’s great. Fragment always looks good.

I prefer the blue ones over the black.

I can’t enable the chrome graphics as it makes the whole game look like sh*t, turns all characters into green zombies and makes all surfaces reflect and cause eye cancer.

The more I think about it, the more I’d like to have shard weapons plus fragment skins.

Cobalt = Fragment, I prefer the black and white on the mercs.
Gold = Crown/Swiss, I don’t talk about bamboo.

Shard models look much better but I prefer the chrome guns on fragment.

Shard. I like the color blue a lot so I think it looks better. Plus there’s a slight “p2w effect” from looking blue and therefore confusing some players about whether you’re a teammate or not. :stuck_out_tongue:
