Cobalt rhino ?

So, i finally finally got enough gold cards to trade up 6 of them for 1 cobalt rhino.
Now i was hyped just to get that awesome skin for rhino. Then i finally got the 10k credits i neded ( wasted it all on those CW cases ).

And then finally i traded in 6 gold cards for that 1 rhino cobalt…
What do i get ? This:

Is it me or dose this more look like a silver skin then a cobalt skin ? I mean i got a cobalt fletcher, and he dose have the nice cobalt colors everywhere.
This just disapoints me… could of just stayed on silver with this kind of skin.

So im asking here, is this really REALLY how some cobalts look like ? Or am i just unlucky ?

On a sidenote, i just noticed i shoulda posted this in the skin section :confused:

There are two different types of cobalt colours.

Cobalt Shard is the blue.

Cobalt Fragment is the silver.

You aren’t unlucky. Some people actually prefer the fragment over the shard.

Thanks for the info @cacophonousKnot dident know this yet.

I still do feel unlucky, would of loved to get Cobalt shard version.
Made me think, wouldent it be great if you could choose it your self if you get the shard or fragment ? Or even change it any time you want to! Would love to see that.

There is one bronze pattern, two different Silver variants, and three Gold variants, can you imagine if there were four Cobalts? Trying to grind out a specific loadout in a specific variant would be terrible.

I agree though, the Rhino Fragment could use a couple more blue highlights.

Fragment looks nice with HQ Materials turned off. The chrome is removed and replaced with a sleek black that has blue speckles in it.

It’s Rhino so it will naturally be disappointing, dw.

But yeah do what others have said and turn HQ off, makes the gun look amazing.
