You’re right but this is the internet so I can’t agree with you. (It’s against the rules)
So far Splash Damage has been pretty good about listening to the community. I hope they see all of our complaints and take it into consideration for lowering elite case prices.

If not. This is fine. Cobalt skins are just skins. However merc prices are still kind of high. Same with specific loadout cards. If I had a choice I would rather that come down in price than the elite cases.

The only way to truly level out the playing field for competitive play is to create a separate version of the game that only works for competitive games and that has fixed loadouts for everyone owning that version.

I remember my brother downloading a specific version of counter strike source during his semi professional tournaments. So, to me it would make sense to separate both environments. Even if it would mean selling the “pro” version at 5 or 10 euros each.

This way, the casual environment keeps a random free 2 play centered random progression while the professional players don’t have to worry about loadouts. Because in the end ESL always ends up setting rules of what is and isn’t allowed, so the above would just uniformize everyone’s game for that purpose and Nexon would still make money from the “casual” (as opposed to competitive) players.

Me too. 3.49 euro or 17,500 in game gold is pretty steep. It’s either buying it or going through a painful process of getting loadouts, trading them up only to get the wrong one over and over again.
