Cobalt Badges

While in game you can earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold badges for accomplishing certain goals like a number of revives or completing objectives.

In my opinion a next tier is missing. A tier that looks slightly unreachable unless you work your ass off, just like the Cobalt loadout cards and the Cobalt assault course time.

I think its quite disappointing when you are playing insanely well and there is nothing in for it except for that gold medal you had minutes ago. To me the gold reward is more a reminder i’m doing ok ingame not a satisfying reward xD

But some of the current Gold Badges are already quite hard to get.

Bunch of new badges that were added before for Fire Supports and Recons are enough tbh.

New cobalt badge with 750XP or even 1000XP is way too excessive.

I want a badge for a 20 kill streak at least. Godlike is too easy to get.

I really want the end of match badges row to have my top badges (e.g. Gold > Silver > Bronze), and not just show random ones.

I always wanted to see badges like ‘Top scorer’ ‘top killer’ ‘best medic(most healing)’ etc for being the best of your class in the server.

But at the same time I’m worried it might increase salt levels

This would likely lead to all the good players leveling much faster, as 50% of the exp you earn in a game is from Badges (except with maybe Aura). Looking through my screenshots, games where I average 30,000 points, 13,000 of them are Badges. And considering right now, nobody can see what you’ve achieved, unless they implement public profiles, theres not much use in this except more points.

One badge i’d like to see in cobalt would be “messiah” badge.
Messiah:Do all the objectives,do 50 kills in one game,get one Godlike,Healing 3,Revives Lvl 3,and Ammo 3.

There’s physically not enough time in those 15 minutes to get all that.

badges should start from lead to cobalt or even elite for multi kills badges . a simple lead will apear when killing ennemy then iron double bronze triple… and since the match are about 6 players (like during cmm) or 7 and that would end with a cobalt (6) or elite (7) but that just an rondom idea

I’m pretty sure no one has gotten the 50assist in one game badge. 50kills in one game can be reached, but 50 assist lol hot damn.

Aimee gets me 25 assists all the time, under the right conditions I could see 50 happening.

Play Phoenix in an 8v8 server.

Reap all of the timed heal medals.

Hell, you get them so often with Phoenix, I’ve taken to calling them “Free XP”.

20 Melee kills is pretty hard to get.

I mean, I can see it getting done by using Aura, Sparks, Proxy, Kira, or Phantom, but it just requires the perfect match really. You would need to be facing scrubs, or having a long match and constantly going for melee kills. I’ve seen some players who are really good at melee though. So I guess it’s definitely possible.

Of course a melee only match is another option. :smiley:
