Is it jsut me or was the old lobby UI better? i mean you could click on the card site and get the little laodout things and when you cklicked lock in you would get thrown into the game when it was ready, now when you click it you get a loading screen then get put back in the lobby where you have to press deploy to get another laoding screen to fianlly get ingame.
What was so wrong about the old UI?
We’re trying to make the experience as user friendly/streamlined as possible before Open Beta so this may not even be the final version.
k just sayin this lock in, loading screen, back in lobby,deploy, loading screen is a bit … off putting. Also it usually costs some min so you can’t start with all the others.
If you get thrown back into the lobby after the loading screen and have to deploy again, it’s usually because the match started before you managed to finish loading, so the game effectively threats you as if you had joined mid-game. It happened to me a couple of times and I could tell the game started without me because I could hear the announcer’s mission briefing while still in the loading screen.
Yep, it’s very annoying to start after your mates only because you don’t load level fast enough… Why not load the level in background of the lobby ? So when this incredible amount of waiting time is over, game starts faster ?
… all these waiting screens + level presentation vid are killing the smoothness of objective mode and make players crazy ^^
Not only that, but when you join mid-game (or load slowly at the start of one) and you see the “Deploying” text while still in the menu, your character has actually already spawned and is standing idle in your spawn! Listen closely and you can hear yourself taking damage if an enemy finds you. It’s pretty frustrating to get a death because you had to wait for an arbitrary timer.
while we are at it K for suicide is not the best position especially for a battlefield player O_O (K is teamchat in Battlefield games)
Some players with no ammo w8 for 2-3 sec respawn (u can see up left corner next to time) and suicide…
Why let someone get free points for killing me if there’s no chance of a revive before respawn?
na not tapign out you can actually play russian rullete with a fully laoded in normal gameplay
jsut press k and you isntantly die and get -10 points
