I miss all of these points too! The rest I don’t really care about. I ordered them by how much I miss them. (e.g. selectable spawns: a lot, helmets: a bit). Picking up enemy weapons should only be possible for weapons which fit your body type imo.

Also, I think we need something like satchel charges to destroy objectives like side gates on maps like Dome. Reduce C4 explosion times on side objectives and decrease build times to compensate. Give the satchel to a light recon class (like the one I suggested.

The simple things I mentioned are somewhat trivial, but I doubt any one would argue that some of the main map features I highlighted would not make the current maps infinitely more enjoyable/exciting (if the design allowed for them, which it currently doesn’t).

Community maps are sorely needed. I wish they would focus more energy on making this happen, rather than slapping band-aids on the current ones :slight_smile:

Silvanoshi actually gave a pretty good reason for them not being able to hand out an SDK just yet, i won’t ruin it by botching what he said I will just request he post why they can’t give us an SDK so easily right now.

Surprised you didn’t rank that higher. I think it brings a lot of value to the game in the form of intensity (for both players and spectators). Loads of opportunity for exciting down to the wire clutch returns and doc secures with this feature.

What I would like to see avoided is being able to do a lotto delivery by taking a light class and just wall hopping around (while perhaps being hard to hit due to net settings). I think the first stage of Dome would for example suffer from this.

You can still request delivery to take a little longer, either as is now, or by standing in the zone (see undeground 1st obj) for a certain amount of time.

Other aspects: picking up, return would all greatly benefit from not having to do with the clunky UI

Alright game hurry back I am hating CS:GO but surprisingly getting really good at Casual play after a week.

Oh yeah, not earning keys in game sucks! I am not going to pay $2 for a key to unlock a crate!!! I have like 3 or 4 Chrome cases and 2 or 3 Esports things… I can not do anything with them. I cant even sell them… Plus I do not want to put in the time to trade because it is just a skin and who cares…

Side Note: Any way to change the FOV in CS:GO? Feels like I am playing 120 FOV and cant see these little heads popping out…

I can see getting super frustrated with DB if I do not have Keys to Open these simple crates. Then you add Crafting crafts on top of that!!!

There has to be a limit and average to how many keys you will need to achieve your goal.

As soon as the game is released I am going to want 3 or 4 classes maxed and those crates. Right now fragger is the killers so pump him up to level 4 asap and get the crates and craft the AEO Blast, Cooldown and AOE Range perks.

How long will it take to do this? As soon as I get this CARD build I might want a defense card for fragger but all defense perks blow right now so hopefully they fix that.

I am just staying I will need progression of crates and keys because I am sure as **** not paying.

In fact I will probably never take off my founders skins and the little founders tag on my gun will be sweet enough for me.

Plus playing on Ultra Low setting to maximize FPS and get every advantage possible will wash out the skins and guns so who cares…

These perks are going to make or break the game, especially when it comes to money so the perks will have to be worth it. Skins and gun skins pfft, who cares! In CS it is sort of cool but there you can play on ultra settings and get 1000 fps. You can also shot 30 bullets get one hit for 30 while aiming at a person, however you can kill the enemy team if you shoot 30 bullets while your crosshair is aimed at your left toe!!!

Sounds like someone is having a hard time levening the recoil pattern ;). In all honesty how attention do you pay to other players skins in CS:GO? If you dont pick it up and actively inspect it I have a feeling you dont really notice. At least I dont. I wouldn’t mind paying for keys as long as the drop rate isnt as absurd as in CS:GO.

Also remember that alot ot settings isnt done to gain FPS. Alot has to do with visibility, color blindness, brightness, gamma, contrast etc.

It took a while by I have got the spread down finally; also if you shoot them in the face its 1 or 2 bullets much better haha :smiley:

Wait, keys drop in CS:GO? I have 20 hours played and have no keys???

Way back in the day I played CS 1.5 and spent countless hours installing a skins pack that made the mercs stand out. The Counter T were bright blue and the Terrorists were brown. This made everyone stand out and was amazing. There was no way I could play with default skins. I just couldnt see them.

CS:GO is sort of the same way. I have settings maxed out but have a hard time seeing the mercs especially the terrorists against the back grounds.

You are correct about the gun. I sometime pick up other players guns but never notice what is on them. It sometime catches my eye because it is a bright color or pattern. CS is totally different then DB or ET or RTCW. CS is not really an aimer. Its a stand still point and click type game. No strafing or tracking just point and click.

This brings up an even greater point! YOU CANT PICK UP OTHER PLAYERS GUNS IN DB!!! WTF!!! So even if you have gun skins with DB will have what is the point?

Get rid of ammo stations!!! Make medics stronger and involve team work! Gun Drops for ammo! Scavenger perk for ammo! Also get rid of the perk that makes engy perks stronger or at least make it so other engys can NOT get that perk. A defuse in 2 seconds? wow!!

When are the huge art passes going to be put into DB? Exploding bodies and so on? When are the ungibbed bodies finally going to stop rolling around? When will crouch be rewarded more?

Playing other games really makes you award of all the stuff DB is missing yet :smiley:

Thats just it. How do you balance progression with Paying? Like I said I have 20 hours in CS:GO and I do not have a key yet! In fact I am in the mind set that Keys never drop in game! Do they? I really have no idea!!

20 Hours in DB I would have leveled up many mercs and got a ton of crates. Can the crates be trashed and turned into keys? How is crating going to work? If I can trash and create keys by leveling mercs then why would I even need to buy keys in the future? Just wondering how SD is going to balance that???

The only way I think skins and weapon skins and other things will take off is if:

Spectator Mode (like LOL) has everything Max settings and is visually amazing to spec and watch no matter what the player specs are. If the spec mode from LOL is put into DB and everything looks amazing then skins of all kinds would look sweet. You combine that with the CS:GO 3 spec view modes and you might be onto something.

I should have mentioned, drop rate in the crates. As in not ensling up paying hundred of dollarn and only getting absolut crap which is how it is in CSGO right now.

I bet CS:GO is raking it in because people are saying its only $2… And once you have your credit card hooked up to it, its only a few clicks especially for a 12 year old!!

I really hope the AUG’s are useful!! The augments in DB can solve everything including TTK, teamwork and Fun!

I keep referring back to this POST but I think this would be epic!


Especially if they do this to Medics:

Example #1:
SAW
Perk 1: Merc’s Can Self Heal at Normal rate
Perk 2: Fast Reload
Perk 3: Add 20HP

Example #2:
SAW
Perk 1: Medic Pack Heal 25% Even After being hit
Perk 2: Fast Reload
Perk 3: Get 3 kills in a row and resets abilities

Example #3:
SAW
Perk 1: Stacker: Become Stronger by supporting your teammates. (Receive a new max cap HP for every teammate you revive without killing an enemy.) (40HP Total) (Upon Death or Kill (or just kill) it will reset to 100HP or 110HP) (Can not stack HP Perk)
Perk 2: Fast Reload
Perk 3: Reduced Cool Down on Abilities

Three abilities that are fairly balanced and can benefit from all 3!!!

Some of you might be thinking well, yes this might work for SAW but that is about it. 3 things:
#1) I think it could work for all medics
#2) You can solve this issue but coming up with 3 “ULTIMATE” perks per Merc!
#3) You change mercs around a little so the ulitmates work with all medics.

I think you can solve this with #2 above. Some ultimates will work for some mercs and some wont so you have to create one or two more per class so it does work.

Example for AURA:
This ultimate “Medic Pack Heal 25% Even After being hit” would not work with her but the other two would. So create one for her. Something like Heal Station (its self) gets 50 more HP…

Again one Ultimate Peck and 2 normal perks. This will allow for many different play styles!

SD has said that people can do or unlock everything on play time but if people dont want to wait they can pay.

Picking up weapons would be stupid… How can you even suggest that? The whole thing about dirty bomb are the different mercs with their own set of weapons… And what about the balance? Sawbonez with potent health packs augment that picks up fraggers gun?? If that guy has gor half decent aim and knows how to use his medpacks he is almost invincible… So no: weapons cannot be picked up!

Oh and csgo is ****
