I want to stat this again. This patch and update I find no real need to aim at the head⦠Fragger and a few other classes and just pure body rage with crazy fast ttk⦠I very rarely see a player with a 5:1 KD especially if there is at least one or two players of equal still on the other team⦠in the previous patches you could get a 3:1 KD by very quickly killing lower skilled players⦠now a low skill player with a mouse sens of 14 can spin around spraying bullets and get you to 10 HP and you are left with the wtf feeling!
Also why do mercs still have areas of the head Md neck protected by cloths?? This totally messed up backraging because you are not popping heads but rather a backpack or somethingā¦
I am ok with some of the spam and except a nade or fire coming at meā¦
The game is beyond noob friendly right now with skyhammer airstrike pointing out what direction it is going⦠arty airstrike puts a dot on the ground and proxys mines and be easily hear and spottedā¦
I hope the next few updates with tailor to a more polished and finished balance system⦠2 years of playing around come on

I donāt think thereās anything wrong with being noob friendly but I have to agree with you that right now with this patch it feels itās only about trying to accomodate beginners (if I wanted to be mean I would say āf2p customersā) and not giving something to veterans/aimers/etc to thrive for. Thereās little to no mastery requirement for anything.
Pub gameplay is just infuriating, itās now more spammy than ever and the āsee first kill first (with a 99% probability)ā has been so accentued this patch I canāt really enjoy doing daring stuff and succeed. I keep bumping my fist on the desk when I see players favoring (corner) camping in what was supposed to be a fast-paced fps.
Apparently the rumor has it that something big will be announced at the end of this year, for the sake of your DB community remnants I hope it will really be meaningful and not another lame marketing trick.

In some recent threads Iāve suggested buffing ability impact via archetype synergies. X buffs AoE, X buffs Damage, X cloaks ability, etc. Itād be way more team oriented than this junk.

Exactly why I was suggesting something different than f button. Plus brink buffs boosted hp, gun dmg, etc, so not relative to this.
only if on open beta they have a massive update, which i imagine will happen, if not then it obviously isnt ready

This patch put an odd feel on guns and I hope SD can recover next patch.
I really wish I had the time to dig into each gun especially the new ones because some feel OK and some feel awful⦠I am assuming by this time Smooth already knows what direction he is tweaking the gun for the next update. If NOT then I would create a post that asks us specific questions on and about the gunā¦
With the Recoil and the Hit Bob I lost a lot of feel while in a RLRL battle⦠Feels like spread and pray style. There is no reward to Tapping and people are fishing in the dark to see if Crouch tapping also does anythingā¦
I also notice that I am getting huge and I mean huge amounts of Blood when I hit a player⦠I do not think it is me getting hit but when I hit a player their entire body turns red and actually loss my cross-hair vs the outline of their modelā¦
The biggest thing for me this patch is tracking right and left⦠I can be standing still, crouching or running but I never get that solid hitsound of every bullet hitting⦠If you see someone running and they do not see you and you crouch and upload on a person all body shots they should die⦠It might be because I am in a euro server but I let er rip at mid range and people just run away haha⦠Then by that time another person has hear you and comes around a corner and pops you while you are reloading⦠This happens over and over againā¦
What should happen is you down that one player you are side raging and with the half a clip you have left be able to insta kill the guy you know is coming around the corner because he hard you⦠Thereās no super awesome triple kills just glitchy spammy spraying⦠I still wonder where half my bullets go⦠Especially with the hit lag I have been getting lately, it honestly feels like its effecting my damage and for sure my aimā¦
I honestly did not think Balance would take this much of a swing because it feels like we are back to square one so please if you need specific feedback on feel or guns please ask so we can tackle this by next patch! It would also be interesting to see how the Accuracies are playing out with this patch VS last patch vs the previous patch⦠(2 Patches ago Stoker felt amazing) (Now he is still amazing but with an odd feel)

Has anyone gone in an empty server and just shot the SMGās at a wall at mid range to see the recoil pattern?
I just shot many many bullets with the guns below and I get a odd pattern⦠50% of the time the spread just went straight up with a small side to side motion⦠The remaining 50% of the time I got two very odd patterns. One would go off to the right in a rather violent fashion and not correct⦠The other odd pattern would go to the right violently but then correct back to the left violently againā¦
I would love so see this also tested while RLRL and not just standing stillā¦

We really need to test:
Increased vertical recoil by ~15% (Whatever Range Was)
Increased horizontal recoil by ~ 70% -180%
FYI - having the full crosshair on will show you the current spread of the weapon.
Yea I just find myself not being as accurate with it.
More importantly I find myself more frustrated when I do not hit with it.
To often I will start shooting when they are in the radius and expecting hits. When I go back to slow motion I realise I am just treating the whole thing as a crosshair instead of the dot in the centre.
EDIT!
Kinda wish we had a crosshair that was showing a representation of spread rather then the full spread. Something not much bigger then the dot crosshair size. Then I can have the spread information without being distracted by the huge crosshair.
We will be having custom crosshairs eventually, just bigger fish to fry right now
can we hope something like a Christmas rodrigez update or we just forget it ?
