The latest Closed Beta update’s here, containing several fixes (including key bindings being reset after logging in), audio and VFX improvements.[B]

Fixes[/B]

[ul]
[li]Fixed an issue with key bindings resetting after logging in [/li][li]Fixed various issue with picking up health/ammo [/li][li]Fixed various issues with reloading/ammo counts [/li][li]Fixed an issue where players disconnecting from the server long after having previously been damaged by a player awarding a kill to the damaging player [/li][li]Sticky mines now detonate if they lose their base to prevent them being left floating in the air if stuck to a deployable that was reclaimed [/li][li]Kills/Deaths/Assists during the End Game Review are no longer added to the scoreboard [/li][li]Players with a worse interaction than the current one now automatically begin interacting with the objective when the best interaction has stopped. Previously they had to stop interacting and interact again. [/li][li]Players now have to press SPACE to respawn to address an issue where players would be insta-gibbed and hit a respawn wave, giving them no time to what caused them to die. [/li][/ul]

User Interface & HUD

[ul]
[li]Fixed an issue where the capture objective IFF would not appear as a spectator [/li][li]Added new damage indicators for explosives and other non-directional damage [/li][li]Added Obituary icons [/li][li]System messages are now displayed as obituaries rather than default unreal messages [/li][li]Fixed an issue where self-revived players would have a damage resistance icon displayed [/li][/ul]

Audio

[li]Added temporary generic commander audio for all objectives [/li][li]Fixed V-says being global that should only play as team-only [/li][li]Added Heartbeat activate sound [/li][li]Added new audio for heavy knife and cricket bat swipes [/li][li]Added VO for Fletcher [/li][li]Reworked Fraggers Machine Gun audio[/li][LIST]

Mercenary Balancing

[li]Buffer clicks that come in faster than the fire rate for semi-auto weapons to make rapidly firing sem-auto’s feel more consistent [/li][li]Players can no longer perform Escort or capture objectives whilst invisible [/li][/ul]

Someone’s working late today, but much appreciated chaps!

Unmentioned changes?

  • Increased recoil (sadface)
  • Incapped animation (very nice, needs a little work though, sometimes the ragdoll doesn’t rollover onto it’s back)
  • Wall jumping nerfed (at least something feels weird with it, need to test more)
  • Frontend profile tab (good start, now if only I could have my per-match accuracy reported in the endgame menu)

Config fix is great.

Stat tracking UI is in, but doesn’t seem to be tracking anything yet.

There’s nothing about it in the changelog, but it feels like you’ve adjusted walljumping? Some jumps that were previously trivial are now very difficult.

There’s a weird bug on canary, where a player inside the first objective building will die when a bomb at one of the doors explodes, even if standing on the opposite side of the room and taking no damage from the blast. What’s really weird about it, is that there’s no obituary and no death is recorded on the scoreboard either.

Having issues with this latest update… its keeps reverting some settings to what they where before the patch came out… even when I change them in the config or console they reset each map…

Kept crashing the first two tries but launching from the Nexon Games library seems to work.

no patch notes about the new animations for downed players? Either way its a nice touch :smiley:
Hoping to see some big map updates / old maps put back into the rotation soon, maps are still the biggest issue right now I think, although i’m enjoying the game alot at the moment anyway

Had this happen as well on the same round. Was standing inside room next to the unblown left door as the right door blew. Died but no death recorded. Also the doors will blow but the danger sign decal remains floating in mid-air. I also had a weird instance when as Bushwhacker I couldn’t disarm the left door or fire until I switched to the pistol and back again.

Was a lot of warping from various players especially high-pingers making tracking ‘interesting’ (though Mustang was also jumping around a bit for some reason). A lot of instagibs escecially from and with Fragger for some reason (one-two shot body kills).

incapped animations are a must, combined with the dismemberment, no excuses anymore not to know who to revive. Also the profile tab will be interesting for the statistics. It’s something I wanted to see in-game for a long time

Still waiting for the chat bugs fixes, such as unbindable backspace, as well as rightctrl, rightshift, rightalt swallowing first letter of chat.

Yes ! finally incap animations, they are great … for now it is hilarious to see players crawling and snailing trying to get onto their back ahah.
as already said appart for the too “small-corridor-no-interesting/enoughobjectives maps” i am rly starting to get hooked to the game, nice work !
ah and also i feel they dont get enough credit for their work but you got to tell the art team they are doing an amazing inspiring great job !
