Closed Alpha - New Members Soon

(badman) #1

Hey guys,

Just a quick update to let you know that we’re preparing to go wider with the Closed Alpha and get more people in. The exact timing is still up in the air and will depend on how the systems are taking it, but with any luck, you’ll have a bunch of new players to take on in the coming days.

We hope you’ll give them a warm welcome here on the forums and out on the servers (pretty please? :D).

This is great news. Hopefully we get some more NA players.

Just a recommendation here, can you please take the ACTIVE players recommendations rather than non-active. It would be terrible to send out a batch of invites and still have no NA testers playing. I know about 5 guys that have brand new gaming computers that would log many hours playing and testing this game, so if you need player suggestions feel free to ask.

We should change the Training video in the Launcher with this one:

 Keep Calm And Obey Toby

record the first impressions and we should have some footage for the next trailer

This is in addition to the FF invites - we’re planning to let in a few Founder’s Club folks for this one.

Hopefully more NA or Aussie players

I wonder did you ever played ET or ETQW?

(iwound) #11

i wonder did you ever read my sig

(Kinjal) #12

Ok, so you think that playing medic in ET and ETQW require no skill at all? Cos the medic in DB is absolutely the same

(iwound) #13

i said in DB its little skill with a knife if you focus on that
knife hit distance is too far, others say its OP. in ET and ETQW the covey was the main knife guy. because of his other skills.
hopefully getting a knife kill will be much harder. because with it its more like WoW.

And how all this is connected to medics?

(iwound) #15

nothing, the issue is with the knife. just so happens its used a lot by medics. hence my ripper joke.

Hi guys, I made it to the party!

(DarkangelUK) #18

A party is never complete without bacon \o/ Welcome!

What are the chances of an Aussie alpha server? We got a huge ET fanbase and i’ve already seen like 8 aussies in the alpha. An au/nz server would convince many to get on board with the alpha imo.

Yes/No/Maybe?

That’d be cool. I have plenty of friends over there. I for one, though, since I’m in America have no complaints at this time
