clipping a player in place

then how do the players who are in tanks, slant when going up a hill?

Only a very fast test:

AFAIK third person view doesn’t show everything correct, but you can see what trouble you might probably have

Well, it was just an idea to begin with. But now ive seen this, I think if i were going to make a roller coaster, it would have to be one with out loops.

Why is it, when i sat I dont want it to be like that, an idiot has to carry on…

you dont need to make them slide on their feet…you can make the car and the clip tunnel…ya know teh ol’ 2 an 2 together?

and a little lesson in courtesy, if you ask for help and people are trying to help, don’t call them idiots.

Well I see another solution, but thats a wicked one.

If your map consists only of a roller coaster, just set the wagon static, and everything else a script_mover. Yup, you move the world arround the player(s), and not the contrary.

However, all players must be im the wagon for the trick to work. Also you can only have one wagon. Making a train is possible, but you’ll have to set very special vertical splines to match the moving world, wich would prove hard to do.

Anyways, It seems quite hard to do any interesting gameplay in those conditions @_@
