Just wondering if theres an easy way to put clip around a model, any secrets? Just having trouble putting clip around a rock. Any tips would help.
Clipping a model
The best answer I think: is using vertex manipulation on clip_weapon brushes that closely mimic the general shape of the rock…no need to use more than 4 (and 4 is kinda high for a rock).

**To make it difficult on urself:
place > “q3map_clipmodel” in a shader and then remap the model>>
Example:
textures/cerberus/remap_rock
{
qer_editorimage textures/cerberus/rock.tga
q3map_clipModel
{
map textures/cerberus/rock.tga
}
}
Then use KEY: _remap VALUE: *;textures/cerberus/remap_rock in the entity value window of the rock model.
**To make it easy on urself:
You could just select SOLID…that would be easier…hehehe.
Also…there is ‘force_meta’.
