Le me looking at my merc rooster.
Oh, i havent used [insert merc name ] in a while.
Put him/her in the squad.
Proceed to kill anyone, get rampage and godlike.
How the hell could i forget about this merc, so strong and versatile.
I will always put it into my squad cant live without it.
1 week later:
Cant aim for shit, this merc is too slow/ fragile/useless in this map.
Getting raped by lvl 5 players, got teabagged by rhino player.
This merc is so shit why do in keep using it?
1 week later:
Oh. I havent used [ insert merc #2] in a while.
Rinse and repeat for maximum saltiness.

How many others can relate? I hope i am not the only one

i keep rotating my mercs per 3-5 match, not sure what youre talking about.

@sweetColumn i always have 2 mercs that permanently stays in my rooster as i main aura and nader, but the third spot is free to try out others, thats what i am talking about

I have no problems with muscle memory, when it comes to merc I never used.

But if I do forget, it takes about 20 min. to get adjusted again. Pretty much any video game I’ve stopped playing for ages.

tbh i only use stoker/fragger/rhino

medics only when i need to and reacons when i just want to snipe a little

soo no, i dont have this problem, especially when you play against pub potatos

My case is more like keeping vassili in my squad ( I main him), but I just play other mercs, which now my aim isn’t as good as before, although I still can smash all the pub potatos

So i must be a really serious case as at lvl 66 i die like an idiot against low bobs lot of times, while against good people i engage some good fights…

So basically you’re inconsistent…

Only way to fix that is to keep playing and making changes to how you play to try and achieve better results, like lowering your sens.

I just kinda swap mercs in and out all the time. I have a few favorites, but otherwise I don’t play with any one merc for too long

While I generally keep using the same 3 mercs, I have been trying to use as many of the mercs as possible lately. For me it is more a matter of learning the play style. Sure I might get depression at failing at doing some of the most basic tasks but hey failing is part of the learning process. :slight_smile:

Encounter Proxy in enemy or own team
Get annoyed by teammated Proxy for stealing Objectives and being annoying
Get annoyed by enemy Proxy by being the usual monkey cancer she is

Start playing with some of my secondary mercs: redeye, phantom, aura, vaseline, etc.

Do ok, but end up losing a match because one high level person on the enemy team kept killing me.

Take it personally, and bring Dreiss Arty next match and carry the team to victory.

End up fatigued from tryharding, lose the ability to hit anything the next round.

Switch all of my mercs out for melee and joke loadouts.

Spend the rest of my play session sprinting around as 181 sparks, doing trick jumps while my team dies and matchmaking continues to think I’ll be a useful member.

Every time I play.
