Cinna's Brink impressions
400 XP for tossing a syringe (including the guy using it to rez himself) vs 30 for a kill were the values I was comparing. Maybe the values are wrong, maybe they were close at one time but have been changed now.

Read the article in my signature and you will loose the need to preach to me about objective based games vs team deathmatch games. It’s not about that, it’s about a potential 10-1 disparity between XP for kills and XP for team based actions.
Wrong numbers.

+40 for a kill.
+75 for a heal, buff, resupply, etc.
+175 for a revive, which is +75 for dropping a syringe and +100 for the guy using it.

Like I said, I was using the numbers from the Vid with Jolly playing (which was PAX from 2010 I believe):
100 for tossing a syringe
212 more when the guy used it.
There was 112 in there as well but that may have been for boosting himself, but I thoughtit was the health boost when the guy came back alive. So it was either 312 or 424.
Engie got 150 for buffing a weapon (including his own).

I’m sure they are old numbers but the medic got 1,000 XP in literally one minute (no exageration, I timed it). Some of that of course was from buffing himself, which is probably gone by now. Again, I realize these are old numbers, so it’s probably much ado about nothing as you would expect them to be changing pretty wildly as they balance things.

How did you get your numbers, they are from the most recent vids I assume? They sound more reasonable anyway. edit, ok, n/m, I see the video you were looking at.

There’s been a lot of balancing since PAX 2010, so take those numbers with a barrel of salt.

you mean, notheeeeeng is final ? :o

Thanks for the writeup, I found that quite reassuring

It’s indicative of the way you guys are handling things though, in a sense. I can’t use the numbers in the long run, but it’s not like I’m gonna write a computer program to tell me how many guns I need to buff or people I need to revive to get lv 20 in a week or something.

Well written and to the point. Nicely done.
