Choosing what loadoud you want on a cobalt card.

Cobalt cards are extremely rare. When crafting one for your desired merc, I believe a selection for which specific loadout you want from the list of sets would be a nice addition, as getting a cobalt card that doesn’t suit your playstyle seems disappointing.

I would like this, but I feel like it would kinda destroy the value of a cobalt. Once you get a cobalt (most likely picking the best card for your merc), you wont ever need a cobalt for that merc. Ever.

I really like the rarity of good cobalts, and I love the RNG of getting them. If you want a card that is good for your style, just buy it if you have to. It’s only 17,500 credits or a few dollars.

Oh, I have all the bronze cards I need. I’m very reluctant to trade up golds tho, as more than likely I won’t use the card that I get.

It wasn’t directed at you, but the community as a whole.
And that latter half is exactly what I am talking about. It may suck to spend 6 cards and 10k credits on a really crappy cobalt, but that’s why the cobalts are so RARE. You’re supposed to look at someone with a cobalt and go, “Jeez, that’s a cobalt!” not just a, “oh, just another cobalt”.

If you have all the bronze cards you need then why does it matter if you trade up golds?

I guess that’s right, I didn’t think about it like that.

Because everyone likes shiny things, and I wouldn’t trade up my favorite loadout gold card.
