Unless I’m completely missing it, there doesn’t seem to be a way to choose your actual spawn location. So when you die (or /kill) you’ll always be spawning in the same location until an objective is advanced or a forward spawn control point is taken/lost.
It’s not really a major concern, but I’d like to be able to fall back to a spawn knowing an objective is going to be lost in a few seconds so I’m not effectively wasting a ‘life’ by spawning behind the enemy’s new spawn.
For example on Waterloo if I’m on the defending team and C4 is planted at the wall and blows up within a few seconds of me spawning (which I’d have no chance to disarm), the enemy team then spawns at the wall. That basically means I need to run back to the new defensive position with my back turned to spawning enemy players - and since I’m me - I’ll die.
Choosing spawn locations (that your team owns) seems like a no-brainer to me that I just assume hasn’t been implemented yet, but I’m also a little surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet. At least I haven’t found much about it in my forum search.
