"Cheating" I guess

I was banned for 2 days because I was using third party software or something, but I closed everything before opening Dirty Bomb. I’ve tried redownloading the game and I still get an error named “0xE019100B” and I have nothing opened at all. :frowning:

Well, what did you have running to warrant a ban? I’ve yet to hear of somebody getting a ban for absolutely nothing. I’ve heard of things like Process Hacker causing “false-negatives”. So it seems like maybe you should share a little more about what could have caused this.

You aren’t the first one. Though I’m not sure what other “3rd party programs” Dirty Bomb can detect, cause apparently Dirty Bomb is better at detecting 3rd party programs that are harmless than detecting hacks.
I’m worried if they start thinking that my recording system is a hack program than I’ll get banned.

Harlot I opened cheat engine once on accident but I closed it as soon as I realized it was open. but that was a few weeks ago

Yea, sorry man. Every person who comes here and complains they were wrongfully banned starts by saying they only cheat in single player games. Dirty Bomb has a zero tolerance policy and you’re likely SOL. It doesn’t really matter if you were cheating in DB or not. You knowingly started a game with (minimal) antihack protection while having a cheat engine running. What did you expect?

I Alt tabbed out of my game because I just finished a match and was also downloading an update and wanted to check on it but I misclicked because it was pinned to my start menu.Well that is unfortunate :cry:

That’s like getting pulled over at a DUI checkpoint while drunk and saying “I like to get fucked up at home and wanted some pizza. I don’t deserve this DUI because I drank the alcohol at home.”

You broke the rules man. It sucks but that’s what antihack does. You can try to fight it via Nexon support but I have heard they will stonewall you, like many others who popped in the same instance.

It’s Just “Cheat Engine”, A memory editing program developed by a guy named Darkbyte. If you don’t have Cheat Engine, It’s because you a total n00b to PC gaming, everyone who is any kind of Coder/Modder uses cheat engine for testing stuff.
