I noticed that I can’t use the ingame chat while dead (aka gibbed). When I open the ingame chat while still in a “downed”-state and then get gibbed I can continue typing but I can’t open the chat when already dead. Is this an issue on my end, is this a bug, or is this (god forbid) a feature?
Whatever it is, it’s bloody infuriating. I’d appreciate if someone could tell me how to fix/work around this.

Seems to be a bug of some sort, for me it seems to be due to having rebound the chat keys to O and P, I can chat with the default binds (I believe it’s T and Y) while downed. It’s annoying and not optimal but it works then at least.

I actually don’t know why it’s not T Y by default, instead it’s Y U.
