the question is if there is going to be a “class” icon attached to every char, since it has being stated that it is to concentrate on chars, and “hybrids” are considered.

If the “class distinction” should remain (i.e. at char menu), I would like to see a reduced/stylized colour code (suggested by multiple players some time ago) to make it look more appealing and intuitve.

and btw I dont like the Stoker/BBQ card ,there is something that look like a Huge tongue(mb MJagger lol) in it ,cant say whats it is …

+1 to the names on icons. Especially for the in-game hud eement on top of screen with icons for the team (and currently enemy) members.

For future we’ll be referring to characters by their names rather than number, this was a legacy thing where we hadn’t agreed on names beforehand.

The portraits that still look painted are placeholders and will eventually be replaced with high quality renders so don’t worry Stoker will look less like Jagger by then :slight_smile:

In terms of the portraits as a whole we’ll be refining them as we go, ideally we’d like to come up with a visual language that at a glance of colour and composition you can see who the merc is and their intended play style. This however is no easy task and so would love your ideas on this…

Moneypenny had got us all hooked on Magic the Gathering of late; they have a very interesting approach to colour use and style in order to help determine card function/type, any MtG experts that can speak to this?

I liked the painted style though it was making a contrast with the HD graphics of the game, whatever …you guys always come up with something good :slight_smile:
Surely seing the mercs in action/abilitie(s) in the card/portrait will say a lot about them but will reduce the close up of the merc itself in picture …animated card ? maybe ?

I’m not sure how familiar you are with Reddit and flairs on Reddit (I’m probably sounding extremely condescending given your title!). The Dota 2 subreddit is a great example of how I would like /r/Extraction to be; Users can choose their flair next to their nickname with their favourite character or team logo.

To start things off, I was hoping to have the artwork for this. Additionally, any VIP user will have the option to add an additional flair with their Dirty Dorito. Am I okay to use these images on the Extraction subreddit?
