so I had a lvl 14 and lvl 19 character. I was playing reactor, my game locked up and said ‘unable to authenticate all the peers…’ or something of the like. I restarted to find that my characters were deleted, awesome.
so first order of business, has anyone found a way to backup your characters or hexedit your characters to make up for the lost xp?
secondly, when trying to remake characters after I was deleted, voices were being assigned incorrectly. I’d give myself an american accent, start a challenge, and only find that I was duped into having a rather heavy and surprisingly obnoxious jamaican accent. so I tried again, thinking it was a fluke. same issue. so the third time, I made a character, set my archetype (the look), set my voice (the american), then reopened my archetype (so it was highlighted when I hit ‘done.’ my voice was working as intended. I shot through the challenges and played a bit of free play and everything was working well. the next time I opened up the game - back to jamacain. this is driving me more crazy than losing a character. anyone found a way to fix this?
