Chapel MG nests

I noticed something about the mg nests in Chapel. The last two games of it I played, I camped the second and third mg nests on defense. It might just be my own personal brand of magic (or hax, depending on how mad the other guys are), but both times I earned the Unstoppable badge and managed to get more kills on top of that before I was stopped. The first time, on mg nest #2, I was only stopped because we won the round. This isn’t a freak of chance or luck, this is consistently occurring: it happened twice in a row. It seems like something might need to be done about this. I know I’m good :wink: , but I highly doubt that I’m that good.

Anyone else get any epic killstreaks or deathstreaks from the mg nests?

Yep it only works until someone gets smart on the other team and decided to snipe you out. It’s even better when you have a healing station behind you.

I wouldn’t call twice consistent. Yeah it is easy to rank up kills and take a complete team out with the MG if noone pays attention.
But alot of good players will come pre aiming around the corner (especially Vassilis) and the most visible part of you standing behind the MG is your head. Same goes for the EV MG.

So yeah if you find a moment noone pays attention go and grab those sweet Ace and Gunner Badges, but the rest of the time those things are bullet magnets.

Well, I’d think they’d wise up after I wipe their entire team, but maybe I’m not in a high enough tier yet to play against the good players who would come around the corner pre-scoped. I’ll have to wait and see how the strat works on higher ranks.

From my experience, it’s really easy to take out a guy sitting on the MG. Good players usually jump on them for a few seconds when they notice the other team isn’t paying attention, get a few kills, and then move on because you’re a sitting duck against good players on those MGs.
