Changing team

Well I believe the usual purpose of changing team during the game is to counter the unbalance number of members in the team.

However, if someone just change the team because the opponent team is having an advantage (let’s say all the high levels are at the opponent side)? I don’t think it is a good idea to to do. It just makes the situation worse.

I think the option of changing team should be cancelled. What do you guys think?

No.
I don’t always vote for shuffle, but I will almost always try to balance by switching teams when I feel like I can make a difference. And it works pretty fine.

i vote for the removal of vote shuffle and change team

both are usually abused by low levels and high levels alike

you’d end up with MASSIVE ragequit culture

i dont see rage quits in games like warthunder where you dont get to shuffle or change team or revealing the level of the player

Warthunder and Dirty Bomb are very different

All I want is to see spectators not take up a player slot (maybe increase player cap on each server by 2 and reserve those 2 extra slots for specs). Because there are groups of pub stackers and certain individuals that just sit in spectator mode until they can switch over to the other side, and thus ruin the whole match since it makes it impossible for one team to have a full player count while they’re in spectator mode.

If someone like you changes team for making a difference rather than trying to changing to an advantage team to bully the opponent, then it is very fine. But as I see the latter one is more common.

I prefer to keep the shuffle option although it is seldom effective since the high level team won’t vote for yes, but still the level can be more balance if shuffle is made.

I’d have to disagree with the statement on shuffling being in any way useful in its current state. In over 1,230 hours of actual gameplay it has only made the game more balanced at most maybe three times. If it actually worked worth a damn I would actually vote yes to them more often, but in its current state… lets just say it typically makes the balance even worse and just fucks over a few players working their ass off on the other team. It currently is more-or-less a useless feature right now and in desperate need of a rework, if not removal.

P.S. And I can tell you for a fact that I know a good chunk of people who also don’t vote on them or vote no because of how shitty the shuffle system is in its current form. So I wouldn’t assume so much without actual evidence to their reasons.

I don’t think you can get rid of team changing. If the other team loses players I’ll try a vote shuffle to try to re-balance it but they often fail so I’ll team switch to the smaller team to try to help. Unfortunately some people will abuse the team change to make sure they are on the winning team at the end but I don’t think it should be removed.
