Changing name of connecting

So im wondering how to change the name when connecting so where it says server info i could change it to like FuN MoD Server or NoDownload Server, how do i do it and is there a cvar for it? Gamename won’'t change it as it only changes in the server info :stuck_out_tongue: any ideas?

Maybe it’s possible with some mods, but none I’ve seen. Something you’d need to change in the SDK or some other way. (maybe something like enhanced mod)

You need to edit the source or edit the mod.

You coud change name with lua but this is not fully changeable.

Hello impulsive! Sorry for a bit off-topic, but do you perhaps use .XT#Wolfie name in ET?

Micha is right, the only way to change that is in the code. But this is not worth it, because you will have to compile new client binaries, and this would be a new download for your players. All to change one line of text? You are better off doing what Dragon said, which is the main purpose of MOTD
