Change the Stilleto knife sound back NOW!

As you may you may have noticed, the iconic WSSHHHING! sound of the stilleto knife has been removed an in its place is a dull cllchik sound

I request that this change be rolled back as this is one of the only reasons I prefer that knife is the sound of taking it out.

Switching back and forth from the Stiletto to repeatedly hear the sound was the only thing that made the wait at the start of each Execution round bearable, please bring it back.

I know right? It was like a way to get your team all pumped up before the round started, like a cheer of sorts, which is a lot less annoying than all the coughs.

More importantly, it’s way too high in the general mix of the game. You can hear it from quite far… I don’t think that’s necessary to clearly warn enemies that you’re positioned in the surroundings and in a weak position holding a melee weapon :p.

Eh. What we need is all melees buffed back without stupid speed penalties and weird hitbox timing that doesn’t seem to sync up with the animation.

I really don’t like the movement restriction on heavy swings, its just bad… I try never to use it now and when I do think I have that chance to use it, it often misses due to the enemy moving ever so slightly and I end up dying because of it.

I don’t notice a problem with the hitboxes so much except when it comes to the Kukri… not even sure if its a hitbox or range issue though. Same with the Katana, feels more like a range issue than hitbox related.

I think just everything needs to be adjusted to be just right. Because pretty much every melee weapon has some sort of problem to it that just messes it up. There’s a reason why people like Beckhill knife now because the timing is great, there isn’t much penalty, even on the heavy attack and the animation feels fine.

because of the Katanas heavy attack. You could just spin around at the speed of light and kill everything around you. Like a D3 whirlwind barbarian.

A stupid way to fix this issue by cutting the fun out of every single melee weapon…

Even if there are bigger problems, it still IS a problem for many people so why shouldn’t it be addressed? Is the forum only for huge game breaking bugs and the rest should not be talked about at all?

So I had three Melee-only games yesterday, and the Stiletto was the only knife I used the whole time (by pure coincidence). I did not even notice a difference. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
