Any updates on this, since i joined i havent been able to change mine.

You need to reach a minimum amount of points before you can change your forum avatar. I think it is 25, but I can’t recall atm.

Yes the point requirement is 25. @MercifuL If you are active on the forums you’ll get to Private rank fairly soon, the way it works is you get points for Badges as well as ratings, so for instance Insightful, Agree, Like, and LOL ratings on your posts give you +1 point each. Disagree gives 0 points, and Dislike gives -1 points(Yes you can reach an overall negative score, in which case your profile rank goes to Bogey and you are deemed a troll).

It’s not a perfect system as it takes one person to have a grudge on you to ruin your reputation(I use to have only 2 dislikes until a troll decided to give me 20 more for no reason).

It’s rare so don’t worry, only happened to me because someone didn’t like how positive I was towards the community. People these days…
