So lately my frames while playing DB were around 30-60 which it wasn’t never like this.
My graphics are set to low and it happened ever since the hotfix.
So I wanted to install a CFG but while looking on how I didn’t found a way because the paths that people are mentioning go through ShooterEngine.ini that cant find. I do have in Steam/steamapps/common/dirty bomb a file called “Engine” but it has in it other files that I don’t know what to do with called: Config, Localization, Shaders, Splash and Stats.
Can someone please help me with this?
CFG's
It’s usually found in: C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config
Inside the config folder there are a lot of files, for example: “DefaultCompat”, “SaveFormat”, “MergeEngine” Etc. http://forums.dirtybomb.nexon.net/discussion/1026/tweaking-dirty-bomb-config/p1 This forum talks about ShooterEngine.ini that I don’t have there. Am I supposed to make the file?
No, you’re in the wrong folder. The folder you’re in is probably something like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dirty Bomb\ShooterGame\Config
While the file you need is located in:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config
Dirty bomb has two folders, I don’t know why they did it like this but you’re in the wrong folder.
If you still can’t find it then try searching it by pressing start and just typing ShooterEngine.ini in the searchbar. Then you should be able to right-click it and open the file’s location.
Found it! thanks i’m really just an idiot when it comes to this things.
