caulk,clip etc doesnt show in-game?

Hi,
I’ve making new map called Fergana (should end it soon). And in last time i have one annoying error.
Well, when i compile my map (bsp and light) than ingame i see Clips,Caulks,Triggers and other files from /common are yellow and black - thats mean no shader found.

I had to ask my friends about this error, they dunno how to help me…Reinstalled ET, Reinstalled Radiant, tested map on public server, IndyJones has compile my map on his radiant and as before :<. I fighting with that like one month than i decide to write post here. I hope someone help me :slight_smile:

What version are you using? Check your etmain for a common.pk3, some 1.5’s didn’t pack with it. And 1.4 needs the ET specific pack.
Do you see other shaders, or only missing common?(skies etc, white outline box Check that ‘show shaders’ is on. Diff vers’ have that in diff places.

Also, search is your friend.

From begining i use 1.5 version. In etmain dont see common.pk3, where i can download it? or maybe i need to unpack it from pak0 ?
Anyway what specific pack you mean fo 1.4 ? dont have this version but i try to download this for check compler. I’ve had download other version of 1.5 and no changes.
‘show shaders’ is always ON. i checked other shaders and they dont shows too :confused: it must be compiler error couse i checked it on server and same error.

yeah its quite hard to find, but it comes with 1.4. install it, take the paks, and delete the rest (last step is not neccessary, heard that 1.4 is handy in some specific cases… and its true :P). i did the same but then made a separate 7z for myself whenever ill need it its on the reach. no i wont upload it , my ul speed is criminally low and u 'd be faster with getting the full 1.4

common.pk3 just adds images for the common textures in gtk, not ingame.
If they aren’t working ingame then your path to Et isn’t right cause then it can’t find the shader?
Then again how are you using them on your map if gtk can’t see them :S

Pretty weird,

If you are missing the common.pk3, you need em as already posted.
Also you need the shaderfiles,
Well you need this one, to solve above problem https://zerowing.idsoftware.com/svn/radiant.gamepacks/ETPack/trunk/scripts/common.shader. And you need to list this common.shader in the shaderlist.txt used by the compiler (and well preferably also for the editor).
As the common.pk3 contains ‘only’ the images, but the compiler needs to know the info from the shader file.

Copy scripts folder from your pak0.pk3. Radiant/q3map2 can’t read models and shaders directly from pk3’s IIRC. That’s my guess for the problem.
