Caught an Aimbotter on Video

(dukemaroon) #1

Whilst playing today, a server was accosted by an aimbotter by the name of: kokole

Not only was this player using an aimbot, but I believe that he was using a wall hack, so that his bullets penetrated through objects. I know that this is not a feature in this game, and that it is quite possible that his high ping attributed to this. His KDR, ping, and score is attached in the picture. Please note that most players came and left after finding the cheater. This is why the KDR for the other players is much lower.

Please review the linked video for proof. You can see that there were no edits made through the timer in the corner. I’d like to keep this game clean, but it seems to be rather hard. This is a new thing to Dirty Bomb, and I’m extremely saddened to see it happening here. Please take action against this player immediately.

He also stated that he will be posting his hack on two websites listed below. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture of this as my capture software malfunctioned.

He apparently is a lead for a hacking website which plans to create and distribute a cheat for Dirty Bomb.

I played with same guy yesturday. Every shoot he took was headshot and I spectated him for about 4 minutes. Stats at the end of the game were 134/4. He even freely chatted about his cheating…

Same named guy seems to run web pages drhacks and dirty bomb is listed there.

Apparently this has been dealt with, yay :slight_smile:
And just as a heads up…

[quote=“CC_FANG;13268”]Hey :slight_smile:

Thanks for helping keep the game clean for the rest of us! I know you’ve not had any clear direction on what to do with these reports, so hopefully I can help:

quote=“CC_FANG;13263” There hasn’t been a system for reporting user abuse set up yet, so you can use Nexon’s support system in lieu of that.

You can email Nexon at customersupport@nexon.net
Be sure to include the game title in the subject line, as well as the following information (if applicable) in the body of the email: Character name, server name, account name, description of problem, OS version. If you have a screenshot or video you can certainly attach that as well.

Just as a heads up, they do want to discourage “naming and shaming” in the forums, so we can all kind of keep that in mind. Hopefully that answers your question :slight_smile:
