Finally after a lot of testing and delay of the releasedata, I can finally release Cathare.
This is a fragmap made for funfights, clanfights and lan-party’s and optimised for 4vs4, but the
maximum is 20 players. It has also a navigation file in the pk3 for servers having bots around. The map has some great special features such as:
HQ (detailed) textures and environment interaction. To achieve this quality this map is made for new-fast-videocards, but it can also be played
with a normal framerate by slower videocard users.
If you have a low framerate, you can turn the details off in your options menu every time you want. This will increase your framerate with 40%!

Looks nice but “Cathare has become a high-quality Wolfenstein map” leave that for the players to decide, sounds bit naff when it’s coming from the author of the map in my opinion.

Judging by the trailer, the map is looking nice, but it’s mostly showing the same things.

By saying that Cathare has become a high-quality Wolfenstein map, you’re setting the bar very high and so are my expectations

Yes you’re completely right. Sorry for my selfishness. I made the description in the late hours:wink: because I want to release it today.
I’ve deleted the sentence.

UPDATE: At 18:00 (GMT) I will set startup a dedicated server for maximum 14 players with the map Cathare. No need to download the map first. You can download the map while connecting to the server.

the video is a bit too long and you used the track we had in our missile preview :stuck_out_tongue:

but other than that good presentation. could be fun
