case drops (quick question?)

Can someone explain how case drops work?
I’de usually get 1 case every 4 full games or something around those lines…I must be around 8 games already and still no case…

Its random. No telling when you get 1, just random.

I have been wondering this too.
I’m pretty sure that I used to get normal cases more often than these containment cases. It kinda sucks considering that if you want special editions you need those cases + the drop rate of those cards is only 0,3%…
Maybe this way they increase their sells… I don’t really know, just some assumptions…

I’ve noticed an average of at least 1 case every 3 games. But it is definitely random. You could go awhile without a drop or you could get a couple in a row.

@Ardez yeah, I’m close to lvl30 atm and only now I ask this because I’m noticing indeed a difference on the drop rates since the update. I usually got a case every 3 or 4 games too, wich is why I asked because it felt strange going for like 8 games without one lol.

I just don’t think its just coincidence that so many people feel this way, I’ve spoken to some friends too and they noticed that they don’t get cases that much anymore.

When the update came out I got like 3 in quick succession maybe in 5 matches or so, but then it just calmed down to 1 ever five or six games.
