Case bug or wrong description?

The in-game description for the Season 2 Ranked Case says that you’ll only get Cards for Mercs that are highlighted (you have unlocked).

Yet a lot of people told me, they got Cards for Mercs that they haven’t unlocked. It this a bugged or did I read the description wrong. Or is it like the Arsenal Crates, that said they could be dropped after a Ranked match?

Highlighted, as in there is a picture of that merc. It does not matter if the picture is gray or not, the case still contains cards for those mercs.

Okay I must have read it wrong then.

Still think it’s a weird description. By saying “highlighted” they imply there are also “non highlighted”, which apparently is not the case.

Check in store for elite A & B, expert cases, it shows mercs featured in this case and display the relevant mercs. I think they reused the same template for this case description as well, only they included all the mercs in this one.

Also I think it’s bugged, the mercs I don’t have are not greyed out.

By highlighted, they mean the mercs that you can see their icon.
They don’t mean mercs that are not gray
