lol everyone is so salty about not being able to get free stuff. What’s the point of having these special cosmetics with the events if everyone could get them? It just makes them worthless if everyone has one. Just like with the Phoenix obsidian, it’s not a special card. Now, concerning the booster chance increase, I always thought that the reference to the rate of a normal case was applied to each potential case drop. As in, each time a regular case might drop, you have the same chance of it being an event case as you have the chance of getting a regular case to drop in the first place.

But come on guys. Everyone complained about the drop rates of the CW event, and so for WTD they made the Event Cases drop for a whole week, and they added trinkets based off of playtime. But you still weren’t satisfied, and because of all the crying SD made it even easier to get this stuff that is supposed to be rare and special. They increased the drop rate from regular cases 10x. TEN TIMES. Then they made it so everyone could by a case that guarantees a special cosmetic card, and it’s really easy to get the cycles for it too! Then, SD also adds in a way to boost the rate of Event Cases, which, mind you, now drop throughout the entirety of the event.

Stop crying over not getting free stuff. How do you guys expect them to implement trading when all the stuff they add that is supposed to be valuable is going to be so abundant as to crash the economy before it even starts out? Be grateful that SD has sucked up to the absurd requests that have been made, and stop complaining that its not good enough.

CW cards were TOO rare. They were more rare than Cobalts, and that was stupid. If they were silver or gold it would have been find. With WTD they were STILL as rare as cobalts. With this, the case boosters are DECREASING the chance to get a case, so the new cards are SO RARE that half the people that play DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE! thats kind of bs

You’re forgetting a major factor: People have spent more than 100K of their credits on boosters which they would have otherwise spent on things that actually work.

I got an event case on my first game in the event (i havent got a single event case, ever! :smiley: ) so i thought everyone gets one automatically. Is that not the case? (pun intended)

so… i see that im not the only one disappointed… i’ve played plenty of games… got exactly 27 cases… all normal with 7boosters. But I have to mention even all the grinding I did in every event possible i never get anything… i don’t have a CW and I don’t have Christmas one… eventho I bought more than 400 cases during those events… ;(

Glad I didnt take part in this one. Ive spent 500hours in dirty bomb and I havent played one round since getting into the Overwatch closed beta.
You have less than a month until OW open beta is available and youre going to lose a significant chunk of you paying player base to it

I still refer to DB as a great game, but also a shining example of how not to monetize a F2P game

Yeah thats what i think too, if turtle would have been the merc i would for sure trashed db for overwatch even given the massive amount of money ive put in the game to support it now I love Aimée i waited for her for a long time but I just cant put up with shit like this anymore, I just cant fucking see the freeloader lvl 5 running around with the best nader Special edition loadout that he got on his first game of the event when I grind the game for a week ten hours a day and get nothing. Thats why I will probably cut support to DB on my side and migrate to Overwatch

It’s just embarrassing, especially when you’re telling friends and family about how great the game is, well the gameplay part anyway. I really wish that I wasn’t so emotionally invested in this game, but the fact is it’s the most fun I’ve had playing a FPS in a long long time.

How is there no substantive response from the game developers on this…it’s dumbfounding.

Event is 5 days in, thread has been open for 4 days…the weekend is over…what other excuse is there.

Either explain why people are wrong, or acknowledge the mistake and fix it.
