Card instead of case drops

I would prefer that instead of cases, blank cards would drop. Just with their rarity. No merc, no weapons, no augments on them.

I dont like having 5 leads and 2 irons on screen when I pick my merc & load out. That way you could just let the lower tier cards stack until you go on a trade up spree. If you get a silver, gold, or what ever you are interested in, you can roll them immediatly.

At the moment, I have to wait till I get three leads or iron and trade them up to the next higher tier of a merc I usually dont play, just to keep some order.

Use the filters. The idea is pretty poor thought-out imo.

Where is the filter, when I drag and drop the merc over into my squad? Care to elaborate the weak points of my idea?

Your idea is to drop a blank card instead of different cards so they stack in your inventory and you don’t have many different Lead cards, right? If yes, use the filter at the top right of your Loadout page and un-tick unwanted rarities like Lead and Iron.

I always thought, that this filter only applies to the load out screen and not to the drag and drop action, when you drag a merc into your squad. But as it seems, the filter just doesnt get saved. As soon as I leave the load out page and go to mercs and back. The filter is resetted.

Hold on. So your issue is with the inventory screen.
So as a solution you suggest we change the drop system?

In total yeah, I would prefer the blank cards. All in all it seems to me as a cleaner option for your inventory. But if the filters worked properly, it would be fine with me as well.

I am not big on fancy skins. Of course it would be nice to have your favorit loadout in cobald or whatever. Just fyi if you are asking yourself why I am then opening cases.

But I can hardly imagine that after 50-100 cases anyone is still watching the rotation animation thinking: “oh boy, oh boy! hopefully it is the cobald I always wanted”

With my suggestion, you would really know, that you have a chance of getting the card you wanted and you could disregard all the lead an iron crap unti you have enough to trade up to silver, gold, or cobald.

It would save time in a way I suppose, but I doubt they will change this.
