Card fragments Should be able to be converted into credits.

I have a bunch of fragments just sitting in my inventory doing nothing because I don’t want to craft cards because I need the credits to save for new mercs. I think it would be neat to be able to sell the fragments for credits and speed up the grind to get new mercs.

Of course that would be fine for you now, but keep in mind that fragments are getting rare once you are done with buying things for credits. Later in the game, you need 20k fragments to craft a cobalt card. the 50k credits are not really a problem to grind at that point.
But the system is going to change a lot. If I were you, I would prioritize gathering credits for new mercs and wait for the new system. The new system will have only cards with 3 augments.

You already need 20k fragment to craft a cobalt card and only 15k fragment when is “special crafting” event in db.

Are you serious?
Buying a merc or crafting a cobalt only costs 50k credits.
One mission cycle gives you 1500-3000 credits, daily play gives credits, meaning you can get 50k easily in one week.

Tell me, how much time do you think you need for 15k fragment?
Opening a case gives you almost always a lead card, and you need 1000 of them to get 15k fragments.

I’ve got enough fragments for 2 cobalts…but with event after event recently I’ve been spending on my credits on special cases…plus I’ve got tons of stuff I can recycle.

I would love a option to trade some fragments for credits.

Honestly I kinda wish they’d stop adding new currencies and just keep things as credits. Most of it seems unnecessary to me

Yeah, you wish.

I’d be too convenient for us. Something Devs do not want.

I’m sitting on too many fragments, 10k+ in cards to recycle and another 220k in the bank. Id be fine with a 2 credit per fragment exchange.

Fragments are only useful for crafting cards silver or above and it only becomes really fragment-expensive at gold.

Credits are used for everything else, including special edition cards in a lot of events.

I wouldn’t go trading fragments 1:1, but I am usually short on credits, not fragments.
