The post said we are testing the third version and I was asking for ppl to join. Then after a minute we we’re pulled to another server. :stroggtapir:
i was pretty sure it’s possible to view post edit history but… it seems i can’t find it now. weird.
anyway, the map looked a bit empty for me… i loved the ending.

Yeah… pretty empty for 4-6 players. It was not empty with 20+ players.
There is quite some details, but do note that the map is on first playable stage. We are testing/balancing the gameplay features, not the details/visuality. Therefore I don’t think it is clever spending any more time that we did on detailing a map, knowing that you might have to delete/change stages of the map. It has enough details compared to many other maps already and will have more later.
The map is living quickly atm. New things are added constantly and old things thrown away.
Ps. the server had an old version (new version was finished today), but we’ll be running the new version in 1,5 hours.
ps2. Please do not upload the map to internet, or a server campaign/rotation (without permission). This map will have closed testing till final stage (and released as a final).

Thanks! You should have seen the new version of the map we played 1 round yesterday. It went totally perfect (atleast that round). We have today 2 more tests on the very same server and are looking for a lot more.
The environment is not empty. It’s an airport. What you want to have a fruit basket in the middle of the airport?
Also the airport has been pulled to the max, there is a thing called FPS ad Tris if you know. Also for you to know, it is not easy to take tris away to get some area for detail. We will have more tho, but not much.

Yes. Not much details are suited for an Airport as they are usually quite empty. More for other places tho. The thing is… the FPS at the Airport is good atm, but it is easily lowered by adding some details here and there.
We do not want to make any compromises, not on looks, gameplay or FPS. But the FPS is the king!

The airport do look/feels a bit empty - you could simply make some tire marks from the planes in the middle,
would break the picture a bit.
The tank destroys the hangar gate and plane in on shot - why not open the gate a bit , so the plane is viewable from the tank - and then destroy the plane and blow peaces off from the gate.
Just some minor thoughts - great map - looking forward to play it on a server.
ah man, I missed the testing again! I was out drinking (a bit like Pegazus I guess hehe, except I drink Belgian beer :P)

Thanks for the feedback. We are taking every suggestion into concern and are thinking of them. Most of them will not be seen before a late version. We had a round in Bunker #4 and it went just totally perfect, I hope it is how it goes all the time. We are supposed to have another 2 rounds on the same server very soon.
Feel free to connect, they should be around in 20 and 80 mins. Also if you want to arrange your own test run, fire a pm.

@Indy, you seem to miss the point. This is an early version. We are testing the gameplay and are looking feedback for it. We listen to other feedback too, but we aren’t going to do that much about it yet.
