Can't start up the game (sign in error)

I’ve had this game for a long time and I’ve always been able to log in just find. Today I got the Dirty Bomb starter pack and my game no longer lets me get in, it keeps saying singing in and then says error. I don’t know if the starter pack is relevant or not but I thought it might be worth noting. Also I don’t have Bit-defender and I have already tried deleting and re-installing the game. Please help me, thanks.

Edit: It says I might have a connection error and that I need to check my router but I do have a good connection otherwise I wouldn’t be able to make this.

Based on other users, this seems to be related to firewall issues. Ensure there is an exception for DB and if that still fails try temporarily disabling it to test.

I opened up the game and it was fixed, I guess it was just that the game wasn’t working for a but, but it is good now, thanks!
