So the ethernet cable came out, which I plugged back in straight away. I clicked rejoin the moment it came up only to be told that the server is full. now thanks to this I won’t be getting more rank up points, I won’t be getting 50 more rank points (It was very one sided to us looking like an easy win) and I’m going to suffer penalties all becuase the game fucked up.

I had the same issue after 24h disconnect from the provider! Server full message, pressed retry and the prompt disappears! No change to rejoin the running match anymore and got a 3h penalty :’(
