Can't play; frozen when I spawn server; can't move...

I got the game last night, I could play fine the first server, then ever since any server I join. Any text that’s in yellow colors are now all ??? questons marks. Like F to buff, I see ??? instead. Also when I spawn I can’t move at all, I can’t shoot, I can’t do anything except look around and just stand there idioticly. When I open the menu screen once I can’t even close it i’m forced to quit the match to make it go away. Any one know any solutions for this? it’s literally imposible to play because I just can’t move and shoot at all.

Do you have multiple languages installed on your system, and what language do you have Brink set to use? Different languages have different keyboard layouts. It could be the language selected for Brink got mixed up somehow and that your computer doesn’t have that language installed causing the question marks and inability to move.

Well given the version of windows I have I should only have english installed. Every text displays fine tho, only the action keys display ??? marks. So i’d have a hard time imagining why it would mix up only the action keys text and not all of it.

EDIT: Well you’re answer got me thinking, all my keyboard keys were unbinded, hence why i was stuck, pressed default and all is back to normal, what a weird bug to unbind keys. Either way thanks for your reply got me a solution :slight_smile:

Not at all lol, really I just quit the first server to change graphic settings and customize my guy and all the keys just unbinded themselves entirely. I have no clue how that happened. Oh well.
