Can't leave competitive match

Hello,
Big issue i’ve been having, I been playing competitive, did my 10 ranking matches and it happen to me a lot I join a room and in that room my ping is 200-500. It goes extremely laggy and I can’t leave, game is unplayable. I play regular matches and it’s fine my ping is 30. Kind of … if I receive penalty cause the matchmaking can’t choose a suitable match for me.

alt crtl delete…close out and hope for the best…expect the worst though

Are you sure you have the correct matchmaking region selected from bottom left corner of the matchmaking interface? If you have, try switching to another region and back and see if it fixes anything.
