Can't join server even though there are slots available

Sometimes when trying to join a server it fails with the error message that the server is full even though there are slots available. This happens when using the server browser as well as when trying to join a friend.

A few days ago I was playing a match on an EU Stopwatch 6v6 min level 10 or 20 server and we were 11 people for quite a while. When a friend tried to join me, he couldn’t because it said the server was full. He tried again and again, with auto-join as well as with joining manually, but he couldn’t join until the match was over (and some people left). No one else was joining either. During the next match the problem persisted, i.e. again we were 11 people and no 12th player joined during the whole match. After that we left the server so I don’t know if it fixed itself eventually.

I know this bug has been reported before but that was in March so I thought I’d let you know that the bug is still around.

Edit: There were no spectators on the server so that wasn’t the problem eithehr.

I see it less often these days but it certainly still occurs. Is there anyway we can give the dev team information so you can look things up to find the cause easier?

If I remember, spectator slot are counting without appearing in the server info screen.
If there is a slot available but you can’t join, it’s because there is someone in spectators.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that. There were no spectators on the server.
