I wanted to make some dirt tracks, so i first tested it out in a test map.
When i load the map in ET the snow_path decal is streched out and rotated, the oid slick isn’t even there.
I compiled with the highest option and the lowest from the bsp menu (gtk 1.4).
These were the steps i’ve done:
1- made a brush
2- gave it snow_path_end/oilslick texture
3- made a simple patch mesh out of it
4- made it a “_decal”
5- placed the decal just a bit above a brush (snow)
6- placed a info_null above the decal
7- connected the info_null to the decal
