Can't find the answer anywhere...And its ruining my game.

Hey all, I’ve been playing Dirty Bomb on and off since I got my invite 2013, and I’ve yet to come across a bug as annoying as the one I’m experiencing right now. And its a problem I can’t seem to find an answer for online, though a few others have encountered the problem. Once a load into a match the game shits its pants during the opening cut scene and proceeds to slow to a crawl anytime I die. My FPS doesn’t drop and nothing else appears to happen (When I look at task manager), but the game itself stutters and pretty much crashes for at least 30 seconds before I regain control. This happens at the start of every match without fail, and every time I die during a match. Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Or maybe a way I could fix it?

I reinstalled the game for a second time, this did not end up fixing the game. This bug is incredibly frustrating.

What kind of system are you running? CPU, GPU, RAM, OS etc.

And have you tried verifying your Steam file integrity yet? You right click the game, go to properties and that option is somewhere in there (I don’t have Steam on this PC or I’d give you better directions.

I verified the file integrity and saw no change. The problem persists. Game runs perfectly fine outside of this problem (In between the stuttering/crashes).

Don’t worry DreamFiction becauce the majority of DB player got this… People have FPS drop or when they don’t, they still got a shopy gameplay. Like a tinny but massive microshutter…
You can still try to use cfg like the guy here twitch.tv/outc1der (follow stream description under) coupled with this http://www.crossfire.nu/journals/154110/dirty-bomb-stutter-fix .
Try to find on internet how to disable minimap, for some people it helped…a bit.

But like i said if it’s not only fps drop there are nothing much you can do. Wait for an official patch.
