Cant download the game on Steam

Since the game went Open Beta,I cant download the game.
When I click on the “Play Game” button on Steam,a small message box which says “Checking for Updates” and then imminently changes to “Scanning for Steam game updates” then the window closes and nothing happens.
I already contacted Steam support and Steam Forums but I still dont have a good solution.
I really wanna play this game,please help!

The fact that there’s a “Play” button on Steam means that the game is already installed and is in your Library. When you click it, Steam probably sees something wrong in the game files and tries to update it(but apparently fails). To fix that, try any of the following:

  • Go to your Library, right click on the game’s title, go to “Properties”, click the “Local Files” tab and then click on “Verify integrity of game cache”. It might download any missing files. Try launching the game after that.
  • If the above doesn’t work, right click on the game’s title and then click “Delete local content”. This will remove all Dirty Bomb files from your PC. After uninstalling, go to the Steam store page of Dirty Bomb and click “Play Now”. You will get a prompt to install the game. Hopefully, you will be able to play it after the installation.

I never did download the game,so the game isnt in my library.
And this happens when I try to download at the store page,not play the game from my library.

This is a steam issue, it seems.

I got this when trying to play a game last night. I simply closed and restarted Steam and that fixed the issue.

Didnt wait any hours, just instead of restarting ( that dont help) i went to settings and choosed to participate in Beta, restarted steam and then went to settings again and choose not top participate in beta. One more restart and Wholaa…

Could you please try those steps?

Tried both,didnt worked…
